The Invisible Fence
Whenever Gipper walked near the property line, the collar chirped, which warned him to back away. If he ignored the warning and started crossing the boundary, he received a shock from the invisible fence, which taught him to stay inside the area. After a few chirps and shocks, his dog started figuring out where he could and couldn't go. If Gipper wandered near the road, he would hear a chirp. He didn't want to get shocked again, so he would move back into the yard.
God has put an "invisible fence" inside everyone called a conscience, which warns us when we're about to do something wrong. Romans 2:15 says, "The law (is) written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them."
If you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit will warn you, like sending out a chirp, to keep you from going to the wrong places. Are you listening to Him? If you ignore the warnings, you may be heading for the shock of your life. That doesn't have to happen. Do what's right and follow the Holy Spirit. God will always bless you when you do the right thing.
